Product Description Product Description
  • Contains Vitamin C, an antioxidant that evens skin tone and helps build collagen. Also contains vitamin E and Ferulic Acid, used to extend the life and effectiveness of vitamin C.
  • Paraben free, cruelty free, fragrance free, and no color dye added. Made in USA.
  • Apply 2-3 drops to fingertips and smooth evenly onto cleansed skin morning and night.
  • When freshly manufactured, the 20% Vitamin C + E Ferulic Acid serum is cloudy and thick in appearance, with slight yellowing. As the serum begins to age it starts to clear up, then begins with hints of yellowing, which is normal due to the Ferulic Acid, not the vitamin C. As long as it is in a yellow state, it is okay to use.
  • Refrigeration is recommended, as mentioned on the box, to extend the shelf life of the serum and slow down the process of oxidation.

Do Not Buy This Product On Amazon DO NO BUY THIS PRODUCT ON AMAZON! Purchase directly from timelessha.com Vit C should be clear. If yellow its already oxidized and not very potent. When I order from Amazon, its yellowish and therefore not useful. Order directly from timelessha.com . Its fresh, potent (clear) and effective! The bottle size is large and can't use it all before it starts to yellow so I've saved my old bottle. When I get a new bottle I will pour 1/2 bottle in old bottle and keep in refrigerator until ready for use. It stays fresh that way and I can benefit from use of whole bottle instead of throwing it out. . 5This is In My TOP Five of Serums that Delivers Results! This is a such a great serum that works that much better than the rest of them. I have repeatedly purchased this product. It is comparable to the C E Ferulic, Vitamin C Serum, by SkinCeuticals. The Skincueticals serum costs well over $100. This serum is basically the same thing for tons less money. I am skincare obsessed and have tried out many different 'potions' as my husband calls these serums and creams. And, I find that each one I've tried gives me some sort of result usually even if it's just simply moisturizing my skin. But, if I had to pick a top 5 serums that promote the best results, this Vitamin C Plus E, Ferulic by Timeless Skincare would definitely be in there. This will help and has helped me to slough old skin cells to make brighter skin appear. It also helps to keep acne away and has lightened some of the dark spots or freckles from the sun on my face. My skin looks smoother overall. I've spent alot of time in the sun during my whole life, always living in the south, and now in Florida. Any younger people reading this in your teens and twenties you must take care of your skin now if you want to avoid wrinkles and sunspots as much as possible when you get older. I started using sunscreen religiously in my 30's but because I did not before then, I'm paying the price now. But, whatever your age, if you already have signs of aging from the sun like wrinkles and sunspots, this serum and the ingredients in it are some of the best to combat those issues. Serums can only do so much but if you do nothing you will get nothing. So, this serum and sunscreen together is your best bet. Repeat buyer here, love this product! My other Top Five products if interested are:1. Donell AHA 20 Face and Body Care, (strong for the face, has 20% Glycolic Acid, but excellent cream/serum)2. Alpha Skin Care Enhanced Renewal Cream with 12% Glycolic AHA, fragrance-free and paraben-free, 2 oz. (Reviewed this one here on Amazon as well, has a lower concentration of Glycolic at 12% but still a great product)3. Reviva Labs Brown Spot Night Cream with Kojic Acid -- 1 oz4. Hyularonic Acid, (I use many different brands, just make sure it's mainly Hyaluronic acid and shows that as one of the first ingredients)Retin A is another favorite that is proven to work for wrinkles, spots, evening out skin texture, etc. But, it requires a prescription and caution with use. 5No, No, No...my 4th bottle but WON'T BUY AGAIN.I have bought 4 bottles of Timeless C+E within last 2 years, but won't buy again. I used to love this vendor's product but my last 2 bottles have been duds. On my 3rd purchase the top wouldn't stay screwed on tight. I didn't think anything of it until liquid started turning dark yellow/brown within a month. I thought I just got a bad bottle. My last purcase (bottle #4) was cloudy, but turned clear within 3 days (like all the comments said)...but the bottle top (with dropper) won't stay screwed on again. Every morning I find top 1/2 way unscrewed...so every night before bed I have to screw top on real tight. I can't believe I'm babysitting a product like this!Vitamin C goes bad quickly & becomes ineffective when exposed to air...like when the top won't stay tightly screwed on. I don't want to waste time/energy returning product, so I will use the rest of this bottle until it turns really brown or starts to burn my face. Then I'll have to find another product/vendor for my C+E Ferulic purchase.1pH level too high! I just tested this serum with my new pH strips and found it to be 6! L-ascorbic acid is only effective at pH levels of 3.5 or less, which means this serum is completely worthless when it comes to stimulating collagen production. That's the only reason I use vitamin C serums. I will not be purchasing this product again. 1NOOO! 2 bottles bought - both oxidized/defective. It also has biased and sponsored reviews on this serum This is the 2nd bottle I ordered and this one will also be returned.Big NO. Serum is thick and sticky.Feels like wearing a mask. Impossible to wear under makeup and I cant put on any other skin care product as it all becomes mud on your face. I had to wash it off Both bottles of serum was also yellow which means it has oxidized and become defective. Waste of money, waste of time.About the fake reviews on this serum -70% of these reviews are bias.Either seller gave away 1 free product or sell it for 5 cents to people to get an "honest" verified review. I wish Amazon added - " this product have sponsored reviews." in the headline. It would save me the time to read through hundreds of reviews before deciding the product pays reviewers with free stuff and to stay away!I've read some companies pay $15 for a 5 star and $7 for a 4 star review. Easy spotting of product with ' too good to be true reviews' - It has an enormous library of reviews, in the thousands AND it has at least a combined 4 star in headline. The reviews are the only reason I shop on Amazon, knowing I get a fair review. Now almost every product has perfect reviews. We spend literally thousands of dollars a year here - buy 70% of everything we want on Amazon. Not anymore. Amazon has lost my trust and made shopping tedious and time consuming. I send back tons of products every month because they did not hold up to the stars at all. I am never again buying anything which has sponsored reviews - only bad products would have to buy up reviews. So I stay away and end up buying less. Amazon is going down. 1I am unsure if this product came directly from TimeLess ... I am unsure if this product came directly from TimeLess becuase it was already yellow when I received it. I have ordered direct in the past and the product was clear when it arrived. I will order directly in the future. 1skinceuticals dupe i bought this after reading this was a close dupe for the skinceuticals serum which is over $150. i've bought this several times over the last few years. after getting it, i split the bottle's contents between two dark tinted bottles and store it in the fridge to stabilize. this helps prevent oxidation.looking at some of the reviews, there may be some quality control issues but the ~4 times i've bought it, its worked perfectly and hasnt shown up oxidized. it is a great vitamin c serum that will help strip hyperpigmentation and give your skin an amazing glow. it is one of my go-to serums. 5Works on sun damaged and aging skin, especially together with derma roller (update Sept 2015: continue to use this and have tried competitor products, it works and I am quite old! but skin looking good!)Reputable dermatologists say there are only a few active ingredients out there that are proven to do anything beneficial for the skin besides moisturize it (which Crisco or vaseline could do too!) , no matter what hype the cosmetic companies put out. One of those is vitamin C.(Caution: don't use a Vit C product at the same time as Retinols (Retin A or OTC Retinol products like Roc etc), or Glycolic acids, or beta acids (salicylic etc). Use the Vit C in the a.m. and the others in the PM, sometimes even that will be too irritating for some skins. At the least put a few hours between applications of acidic products!).I heard about this product first on a skin care forum I belong to, as I am a sort of hobby aesthetician and makeup artist and always looking for something to help my own aging skin. I use a derma roller (many brands and most are about the same, needle size is the key difference), and this product used in concert with it really has helped stimulate collagen (the disappearance which is what causes skin to look 'aged' , when the padding beneath the surface begins to degrade and so the skin hangs like an empty balloon).I have been using it off and on for several months, and also got some for sisters and friends. In everyone's case I have seen an improvement in skin tone, and definitely a subtle 'plumping' effect. It's not a miraculous overnight remedy, (nothing like that exists in a bottle!), but it does help over time, and you'll see some difference within a couple weeks. Also important is that the manufacturer is using a DARK glass bottle. First because Vitamin C breaks down with exposure to light, and also because if it were plastic container, the acidity would cause some leaching of plastic byproducts into the gel.The viscous feeling of this product is due to the hyaluronic acid in it. Hyaluronic acid is the same substance (but in sterile form and at a different molecular density), that is in fillers like restylane, and that also occurs naturally in the human body. It can't really penetrate below the dermis, but with the derma rolling process, I believe a little of it can make its way in, and that it aids in plumping effect.A great value and reputable supplier. The reality is these active ingredients wholesale at a minimal cost, and the big brand names are marking them up by ridiculous amounts and creating elaborate marketing campaigns and photoshopped images of 22 year old models, and many consumers fall for the hype and believe the cost is justified; and while this product isn't 'cheap', it is moderately priced compared to department store brands, and it lasts a good while as you only need a few drops each time.I also have recommended for those starting a skin improvement regimen to take a few good before and after pictures (spaced a few months apart at least, then periodically) or have a friend do so. Then you can apply 'high def' photographic effects to the before and afters shots, which will reveal the damaged skin that the naked eye can't detect, and subsequent improvement (or lack thereof!), in great (often disturbing! detail).(There are free programs online that can do this(ipiccy is one), or if you use photoshop etc, that allow you to increase detail in your skin - usually called something like 'high def', 'gritty' etc). Department store makeup counters used to have these boxes with special lights and mirror that you'd put your face in and would reveal the sun damage that is not apparent to the naked eye - using as a selling tool-- this HDR effect does the same basic thing - reveal what the naked eye can't see but which IS there! The proof was there for me that my skin was looking better, less damaged. In my case the derma roller was part of it, but this product was also key.(Trying to improve my reviews by being more specific...so do click the ''helpful'' button if you indeed feel it was) 5Must Keep in Fridge!! Otherwise oxidizes quickly. Overall fantastic serum. This is a wonderful serum. It dramatically refined my skin's texture and brightened my complexion. It absorbs quickly, and the smell dissipates once it dries. After reading many comparisons of c serums, this one stood out as the perfect dupe of a $100++ product. The one caveat is that it oxidizes very quickly, and must be kept refrigerated. I just walk over to my fridge and get a couple of pumps at night, when I apply this (mostly peri-oral for me...this is where I had the rough texture due to smoking). I tranferred this to a pump container I had from another product, but you could also leave it in it's original container with the dropper. Don't bother getting a c-serum if you don't want to refrigerate....maybe stick with a c cream or lotion? Oxidation is evident when the serum turns yellowish. The portion of this I refrigerated has remained clear and potent (3 months so far), the portion I had in my bathroom cabinet started turning cloudy then yellow within 3-4 weeks. 5Good formulation for a value price I decided I wanted to add a Vitamin C product to my blossoming skincare routine and there are a loooooooot of products out there, in a huge range of price points. After some research, I bought this serum because it was the cheapest that hit all the right criteria. The ideal Vitamin C product, for me, meets the following research-backed criteria:L-Ascorbic Acid (proven efficacious) rather than Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate15-20% concentration of LAApH <3.5Vitamin E and Ferrulic Acid added for stability and effectivenessAirtight, dark colored bottleDispenser discourages contaminationAll of these are necessary for the serum to work and continue to work for a reasonable amount of time after manufacture.Timeless Serum hits all the key points, and it definitely shows on my face. I'm 41 and fair, with a spotty history of sunscreen use and some smoking in my past. My skin tends toward dehydrated, rough and flaky with redness and freckles. I have fine lines particularly around my eyes and mouth. After just a few weeks of use, I see smoothing of fine lines, lightening of over-pigmented areas and overall brighter, smoother skin.I'm very realistic about what types of improvements non-prescription products can provide for skin, and which are temporary, cosmetic effects vs. lasting change. Many products give a glow or plumping effect that lasts while the product is on the face. This is very different. There are a few caveats to this overwhelmingly positive review. First, the product smells vaguely meat-y. It's my understanding that this is simply the smell of LAA and even very expensive products with similar formulations share this peculiar odor. I don't like it, but honestly, the results are worth it. Secondly, the bottle is unnecessarily large. LAA, even when stabilized, has a pretty short shelf life. This product is likely to poop out long before one could use up the entire bottle. To pull it all together, I've gone from paying zero attention to skin care a year ago, to a whole stable of products I'm using on a regular basis now. Beyond simply getting my dehydrated skin moisturized, I believe this is the one product that has had the most impact on my skin. I can't say Timeless is the best Vitamin C serum out there; it's the first I've tried. But it has a gold-standard formulation and I have definitely seen results from using. I intend to repurchase unless I stumble upon something else amazing in the meantime.**I paid the regular Amazon listed price for this product and am writing this review WITHOUT incentive** 5Buy from Timeless not Amazon This review isn't as much about the product as it is about the shelf life of the product. This serum has a short shelf life before it oxidizes. The color of the fresh serum is clear and over time it turns to a yellow orange. At this point one should discontinue use and start with a fresh bottle. The shelf life is suppose to be 3 months before the product fully oxidizes. I bought this serum from Amazon believing that I would receive a new bottle. I received the bottle on Nov. 30th and the packaging date was 9/28/18, giving me a month to use the product. It is now turning yellow and I will have to throw nearly an entire bottle in the waste bin. If Amazon cannot deliver a freshly packaged bottle, I recommend purchasing this serum directly from Timeless. 2
