They don't damage my hair like the thinner rubber band style ones do, and they hold my hair up well. My hair stylist suggested getting a "scrunchie" to help avoid breakage and these have totally been a life savor!5Poor quality. Didn t last very long. At first, these seemed great. After multiple uses, the fabric was so weak it started to fray. Once the threads started to come loose, they were pretty much done for. I tried to tie the loose threads into knots, to stop the fraying. All that did was make the band lose it s stretchiness. If you just need these for a short period of time, you ll be fine. But I wouldn t expect any longevity to this product. I ve had to dump all but one of them, because they just fell apart. 2Five Stars Holds shape and stays in place. 5super tiny these are so little i guess i missed the part that said mini but the picture makes them appear to be full size and they are not they are super tiny and im super upset as i wanted these for a hospital stay and dont have time to return so will be going to walmart and getting the right size 1Comfortable, secure, understated earth tone scrunchies Love these little scrunchies. Great understated earth tone colors and attractive waffle weave fabric with just a hint of shine to it. The elastic holds well while being very gentle to hair. Since they are mini they are not overwhelming or showy. Doubled over they hold my thick hair securely in a pony tail without pulling on the hair. 5but I was extremely disappointed when I opened up the package I'll admit I haven't tried putting my hair up with these yet so I don't have any comment on the actual performance of the product, but I was extremely disappointed when I opened up the package. They don't match the display image on here at all. The display image makes them look almost like knitted sweaters in the form of scrunchies. In actuality they're really skinny scrunchies made of really thin cheap fabric. So I m always on the look out for a cute hair minder. I initially liked these because of the nice color choices that come in a pack. You can easily find one to match almost any occasion. After using them, I liked them for more than the colors. These hold their shape very well and are easily maneuverable. I have waist length hair that is almost as thick as it is long and these scrunchies do a good job of keeping my ponytails in place. I do have to redo periodically during the day but that s because of my hair, not the product. Keep in mind these are mini, as mentioned in the product description.4
