Powerful replacement heads These heads were costly, but they work great. I was surprised how much stronger the new heads vibrate. I did not realize how weak my old head was until I tried the replacement head! I am thankful they are available so I don't have to throw out my electric toothbrush base and buy an new one.I am not a paid reviewer. I purchase merchandise from Amazon on a weekly basis. I wait until I have used the product to form an honest opinion of it before posting a review. I will answer questions unless I feel the seller should respond. 5What a waste...What a waste. These heads break easily, well before the bristles are worn down. What I mean by "break" is that something happens so that the vibration becomes reduced and ineffective.I had bought the "Sonishare" generic versions previously, but thought I should spend a little more and go back to the Philips-branded toothbrush heads for a better experience. I was wrong...there's no difference in performance, and I actually prefer the Sonishare's slightly stiffer bristles. But what I really like about the Sonishare is that they last. I'm pretty disappointed (as much a toothbrush head can disappoint) in these Philips versions...they're just a waste of money.1Simple toothbrush however overpriced. Great product, I order these for my Sonicare toothbrush mainly because Amazon sells them much cheaper then anywhere else (except for the larger packs found at Sam's Club and Costco). These toothbrush replacements are well built last just as long as any you buy from the store, but buyer beware; when buying from sellers other then Amazon you may receive units that are of subpar build quality. For instance I order a set and only one worked, when I pressed the toothbrush too my mouth that ultra-fast oscillation stopped and the toothbrush became just any other toothbrush.I enjoyed using my sonicare toothbrush so much, that I decided to buy one for my fianc . Find these replacement heads through Amazon is a great value, just make sure you buy them from a reputable source. 4Terrible product from this manufacturer One bristle fell out with my first use. Another one the next day, another one the next day, etc. I haven't had this problem when I have bought the same product through Kohl's, so I don't know where these are coming from. Did the manufacturer start using a plant in another country? Next time, which should be very soon since bristles keep falling out, I will buy these from Kohl's or another local store so I can easily return them if they fall apart. I am too busy to figure out how to return them to amazon. 1Awful!These are generic heads. I went to the store and bought the real thing. There is a big difference. You can hear it right off the bat when you turn your toothbrush on. The generic heads rev like a Harley Davidson, and it's super-rough in your mouth. It hurt my gums! The real deal vibrates very quickly and feels like it's really cleaning your teeth, rather than trying to rattle them out of your head.1your reward over the knockoff brands is a toothbrush that is nice and quiet when operated You pay a little premium for getting the authentic replacement heads, but it's still cheaper than getting them at BB&B, etc. your reward over the knockoff brands is a toothbrush that is nice and quiet when operated. I have gotten the alternative brands before and the sound is awful - wake the dead annoying. Certainly a problem if your toddler is sleeping down the hall. The difference seems to be in the size/orientation of the magnet at the base of the head. Until someone figures a out a way to match the sonicare heads, don't waste your time trying to save a couple bucks. 4These don't fit properly, creating a loud noise while in use. I've used the same Sonicare brush for multiple years now, and I used to buy the replacement brush heads in store. There was never any problem like I've experienced with buying on Amazon (supposedly from Philips Sonicare themselves). The brushes work, but they are extremely loud, as if they don't fit perfectly and the plastic is banging against the other piece at a high rate of speed. I thought it was just going to be the one faulty package of two that I bought before, but I just received another package, and both make the same loud noise while in operation. You may save some money, but buy in store where you know its the real thing I suppose. 1I'm back to original Sonicare brushes. I'm back to original parts. I tried some of the third party replacement brushes and it was hit or miss. Sometimes from the same seller, they would be identical in performance to the Sonicare original brushes and other times they were about half as good (power transmission would be at about half or brushes would fall out.)Overall, I've decided it's worth the extra money to guarantee the quality. I still think they charge too much for them, but I can't deny that they make a great tooth brush. 5NOT Genuine Phillips replacement heads, that's important I love the whole Sonicare system ... it's makes my teeth feel like I just had them cleaned at the dentists office. I'm a 60 year old man who has never had a cavity or any problem with his teeth or gums, so I'm picky about oral hygiene ... these do the job. Spend a little more, and make sure you get the genuine Phillips replacement heads, the generic ones don't propagate the ultrasonic vibrations properly.I'm adding an addendum here and modifying my rating, because on the most recent order (the forth time from this very same Amazon ad) I did not get genuine original Philips Sonicare brush heads, I got cheap aftermarket knockoffs that fail in almost every regard. They don't fit properly, the bristles are way too loose, the clear plastic cap that they provide doesn't even fit their own cheap knockoff properly, and the wear indicator hasn't shown any wear in three months. This is a shame, because it's important to get the genuine article here, and I thought I had found a good source ... now I don't know where to turn.Ok, I just realized that my most recent order didn't come from Amazon LLC as before, they came from POMO Associates, and are absolutely positively fake. It's important to get genuine Phillips, and I guess it's important to pay attention to where they are coming from when you click buy. 1Defective right out of the box!Although it appears to be packaged in original Philips Sonicare packaging, I am afraid that the product may be a knock-off. I have been using the Philips Sonicare toothbrush for at least 15 years. We have never gotten a defective replacement brush until we ordered this one. One of the brushes seems to work just fine, but the other just barely vibrates. I might as well be using an ordinary toothbrush. I compared the two brushes and the defective one seems to be missing a magnet at the bottom of the brackets that go inside the housing. I will not be buying any more of these from Amazon. I really am disappointed.1Ooops I purchased these 2 replacement heads in March to stock up. When I went to use one in July, it didn't make much noise when I turned on the mechanism. I tried the second one and it worked as expected. It's too late to ask for a replacement, so I'm writing to let the company know this occurred. I had this happen once before with a replacement head, but I thought it was my fault because I had been removing the base of the brush to dry. Thought I might have disrupted the parts somehow, but now believe it was another defective one.p.s. and they are half the price on ebay...$11.50 for 2 heads. 1Yes but no. These replacements work well BUT I'm disappointed in the amount of plastic used in making and packaging them. I thought I'd need dynamite or surgical instruments to get them out of the plastic!!! Seriously. Know too that you don't get just the brush but the whole part that attaches to the housing- magnet assembly etc. See photograph- just too much plastic material was used. I will use the two new ones forever. The product as a whole is great and helps, with flossing, and a water pick to keep my teeth, bridgework, and gums nice and clean. 3Great price for a set of two Works perfectly! Great price for a set of two.I also bought this customizable toothbrush holder for it, and it works great!CUSTOMIZABLE Toothbrush Head Holder for Philips Sonicare Advance Model e-Series (2 Slots) 5
