Just okay The wonderstick is a good product, but it's not my favorite. I personally think that it's hard to blend the brown sculpting contour end. You also need a watery foundation to even be able to blend this. I stand by Revlon color stay, but it dries way too fast to even be able to blend this, so I ended up switching to Tarte foundation. I do still use the sculpting contour end, but I use Tarte shape tape for concealer because I can't seem to find the right color in this stick and it does crack and wrinkle on my forehead/under eyes. 3I m torn between two sides! I m torn between two sides. When I first saw this on Amazon I was excited. With the exception of eye shadow I m not a fan of glitter makeup. These are not glitter! So I decided to go ahead and buy four sticks. I love Nyx Makeup so what could go wrong.They arrived super fast and were packaged well. I opened up all four for an immediate inspection and chose one to use the same day.First I tried the darker shade for the contour. Very easy to control, super rich and creamy. The contour side glides on perfectly and blends super smooth with the rest of my makeup.Next are the highlights. I flip the stick around and begin with the center of my nose. Immediately I realized something is not quite right. The stick is picking up my foundation and my correcting shade! Now instead of a highlight of brightness, I have red blotches on my nose! OMG!! Now what? I try wiping off the highlight side (foundation and correcting colors) and give it a try on my forehead but now it s doing it again! Ugh! I try wiping it off on a paper towel but I m depositing more product on the paper towel than on my face! Another thing strange is that it feels greasy. Almost as if the highlight side is a gooey greasy stick of butter.I m not sure what if anything I am doing wrong with this stick. I m totally in LOVE with the contour side. Seriously. It s so easy to use and I would recommend this product if not for the highlight side.It s not a total waste of money but I didn t buy it for only one side to work and one not. I m hoping that I can return the other three within the return window. I guess we ll see as only time will tell.I hope you have better luck than me. 3Lighter than expected It's usually a hit or miss ordering makeup online if you haven't gotten a chance to see the color in person ESPECIALLY if you're a darker-skinned person, so in these cases I usually go for "medium" in every product and find that it's close enough, but "medium" for this wonder stick is much lighter than it appears in the picture, and I would assume much lighter than an actual "medium" person would use. I only really ordered this for the contour side, but the color was just BARELY darker than my skintone, despite looking super dark brown in the picture. The product itself is nice and easy to blend and apply, but the contour barely shows up on my face so I can't say much more than that. If you're a darker-skinned person, go a shade darker than what you think you should get. 3Yes. I have purchased the Wonder Stick in a retail store, the product I bought online was exactly the same (with some skin care/hygiene products I have found that isn't always true). It was a little darker than I expected, but I also couldn't remember the color I had previously purchased. I was wingin' it when I placed the order, my fault that it was darker than I thought it would be. I tend to buy one brand of department store makeup, I didn't see any difference between this contour/highlighter and the name brand, other than the price. It's pretty user friendly, goes on easy, not thick, it's subtle, yet effective. I have somewhat sensitive skin, and it is fine, no irritation or weirdness. I only apply once in the morning, to be fair I don't usually reapply make-up throughout the day, unless I'm going somewhere later in the evening, which I'm usually not, so once a day it is! Anyway, it may need to be touched up, but I'm comfortable in my denial. 4Great but dark side is close to skin Love how the application is smooth and it doesnt feel like you're putting on something ontop of my foundation. Just wished the darker shade they have for contouring is dark enough for my skin to my carmel it just looks like its almost like a shade dark ti my skin but still looks like it like my skin tone. But overall, got it on the date it said it would be send and it is light to carry around. Im satisfied with NYX products. 5No for pictures with flash So bad for pictures with flash, I won t use it anymore 1Creamy and well shaped This stick is very handy for minimal highlights and I especially like that the highlight portion of the stick is tapered at the end so I can use it under my eyes and eyebrows with good control. It is very creamy and goes on easily without pulling delicate eye skin. The contouring end is rounded which makes sense since those areas are often bigger. The reason I'm not completely delighted is that the contouring color tends toward an orangey tint as do most contouring creams and since my skin leans toward a pinker hue, it really doesn't work for me. If I put it on under my foundation and hope the foundation tint will offer color correction, it just disappears because it's so creamy. If I use it over the foundation, it's not the appropriate color, so in the end, I only use the highlighting end of the stick. I guess for some contouring it's great depending on your skin color and where you want the contouring, but I only need it on the sides of my nose and in there places, I've found a powdered product works better. 4Allergic reaction I got an allergic reaction to the highlight. I ve never had a reaction to any makeup product. 1A drugstore brand that works better than a prestige brand? YES PLEASE! I have so many contour kits that I stopped counting as I m one of those women who think the more expensive a product is, the better it will make me look regardless of whether or not I know what I m doing. And yeah - I m laughing with you because we ALL know that couldn t be further from the truth. Anyway, my MUA whipped out these little baby and proceeded to give me cheekbones and a jaw line like I had NEVER seen before! I ve always been afraid of cream contour and blushes but after watching a ton of You-Tube tutorials, I am not going back to powder contour again. This stick is PEFECT for my basic contour and I can just use my fingers if I m in a hurry to blend or I recommend one of the smaller Artis brushes. It works perfectly with my Glossier Cloud paints. Either way, I have 2 of these and am NEVER without one. 5Great for Contour Beginners or Pros! I have been purchasing this product I believe since it came out. I love it! I just recently moved to Japan from America and was determined to find this online. So glad I did. You can really choose how dramatic or light you want your contour. Comfortable in hand, clean, and easy storage. The product goes on smoothly and is easy to blend. Having it in stick form makes it easy to get into those hard to contour areas like your nose or cleavage. Love this product! 5
