Maple Holistics Tea Tree Oil Shampoo and Hair Conditioner Set Our city water supply is full of chemicals and even with a shower filter, I was still left with an itchy scalp. I have tried different shampoos and conditioners from Selsun Blue, Head & Shoulders, T/Sal, T/Gel tar, Nizoral (OTC and prescription) as well as several others, but none of them gave me any relief. My stylist recommended a Tea Tree Oil Shampoo/Conditioner, so I purchased the Maple Holistics Tea Tree Oil Shampoo and Hair Conditioner Set. I was encouraged by the reviews as well as knowing that the product is all natural plus sulfate and paraben free. After receiving the product, I started by using it daily but after a couple of weeks, I am only using it every other day.This is the first product that has given me some relief. I have read reviews on the other products I listed above where people found relief in using them, but each person's body chemistry is different not to mention his/her city's water supply. If you have tried the products above and nothing worked, definitely give Maple Holistics Tea Tree Oil Shampoo and Hair Conditioner Set a try. 5Best Shampoo I've Ever Used I didn't have any expectations for this shampoo and conditioner set. I figured I'd use it all and probably not repurchase. I could not have been more wrong. I have never fallen in love with a haircare product upon first use before.I bought it because I have,well now had,a severely dry,extremely itchy,and disgustingly flaky scalp and nothing else had helped. The shampoo lathers so well and completely cleans my hair and scalp,and I love the slight tingle from the conditioner. My scalp is no longer dry,itchy,and flaky,and hasn't been since that first use. My hair isn't stringy and straw like either, it's soft and manageable. I'm in love. This is my new holy grail set. 5Best tea tree conditioner out there!This is by far one of my favorite conditioners! I originally purchased the shampoo and conditioner for my daughter and ended up using it myself and have come to really like it! I use both the shampoo and conditioner.It does not make my hair heavy and it actually feels like it is cleaning my hair.With some natural conditioners it can make your hair feeling heavy and even some feel like it is still in your hair even though you rinsed it out but that is not the case with this one.I'd recommend this conditioner if you like tea tree smell, if you want a cooling effect on your scalp when washing, if you want a 'cleaner' product that actually works!I'll definitely be reordering this in the future!5I love this product for all my family I heard a lot of good reviews about tea tree oil being a good product to help prevent lice. There were a few lice outbreaks in her preschool so I was worried she would get infested. I decided to order this product based on the reviews and especially because it helps dandruff which I have very dry scalp. After using this product I saw a big difference in my own hair being softer and not having an itchy scalp even had shiny hair. My daughters very curly hair was shinier and her curls were fuller.I recommended this to my sister who also has dandruff and she loves it.The only negative thing about it is the smell but after I styled my hair and blow dried the smell went away. 5Clean FeelI really liked this conditioner from Tea Tree. I liked it so much that I just purchased my 2nd bottle. It has a refreshing tingle that makes my hair feel extra clean. You don't have to use a lot, a little goes a long way. I would highly recommend.5Great for Oily Scalps and Dry Tips I used to be quite the L'oreal fan. I tend to have an oily scalp but dry tips, and though the L'oreal products I used were great for either or, they inevitably failed to address both issues at the same time. But I kept using it because they were one of sulfate-free options I preferred. Then I researched a bit on how to tackle the oily scalp/dry tips issue and I kept seeing recommendations for tea tree oil shampoos. There are a lot of tea tree options out there, but I felt that this offered the best value as well as being sulfate/paraben/etc. free. I took the "risk" and decided to try it out and I haven't looked back since! It's been noticeably great at keeping my scalp oil-free while keeping the rest of my hair smooth and shiny. 5Perfect for a range of things: dry scalp, dandruff, lice prevention, color treated hair! I was searching for shampoo for color treated hair. I just happened to come across this and read all of the highly recommended reviews. My kids also started school again and the lice scare has already began. I have been using this on the kids and myself. So far no lice here, and it is safe for my color treated hair. I got blue in my hair, and I haven't noticed any fading! Love the cooling feeling on the scalp. I have been having issues recently with dry scalp, may even be dandruff, and this is also be good for that, so I think we found a winner for our family! Will definitely buy again! 5My scalp was so itchy I was scratching it like crazy, sometimes until it would bleed I have sensitive skin and it is only getting more sensitive as I get older. My scalp was so itchy I was scratching it like crazy, sometimes until it would bleed. I realized the only thing I had changed was my shampoo/conditioner. I ended up ordering this after scouring the internet for options. I was immediately drawn to the aloe, jojoba, and when I saw the Sea Buckthorn that was it; I immediately ordered it! The relief was almost instantaneous. At first there was a tingling and then the itching stopped. The conditioner is probably my favorite part. It is very thick and creamy and I love the menthol in it; it was so refreshing and felt amazing for my poor scalp! I don't always use it on my scalp since it has gotten better but I like knowing that I can and it will not weigh down my super fine hair! It might also be me but I feel like my hair is shinier too now. I have also been able to extend my hair appoint out 6 months vs. every 3!It did take a few weeks for the itching to stop completely but I could tell after the first use that it helped. I almost cried I had been at a point where I couldn't think of anything else! My only complaint is that the bottles aren't big enough especially with my long hair. It has lasted longer than I thought it would, but I do wish I was able to buy a huge thing of each at once!I am definitely going to reorder this and am so glad these products exist! I will never get another "clarifying shampoo/conditioner" again! 5A conditioner that FINALLY works for meI've had mild dandruff for as long as I can remember, which got even worse once I moved to dry Arizona. I had tried the usual pyrithione zinc products to no avail, then selenium sulfide which didn't seem to work either and also smelled weird, then I even tried ketoconazole which also didn't work. I decided to look on Amazon instead of at my grocery store and I'm very glad I did! Not only does this conditioner leave my hair extremely soft (and the tea tree oil cooling effect is amazing), but I finally have little to no dandruff! I don't know how it made such a difference, but I'm on my second bottle now and probably won't change for the foreseeable future.5Works wondersMy 13 year old had build up or dander on her scalp. She had eczema on the back of her neck. This cleared all of that up! He hair is super thick and I believe was hard for her to clean and rinse. But this stuff works wonders on her. Her hair looks absolutely gorgeous now. Shines and is soft. I use it myself occasionally when my scalp breaks out and enjoy it too. The shampoo lathers wonderfully and contains no harmful chemicals. The product is safe for colored hair. I used the product for the first time 3 days after coloring and had no color washout. I highly recommend this product. 5Used for scalp acne...a miracle! I m hooked. This shampoo and conditioning set is my saving grace. In my 40 s now, I began breaking out in little painful pimples on my scalp. I tried T-Sal by Neutrogena and noticed I kept having to buy more and more and it was getting super expensive at $7 a bottle. The T-Sal wasn t helping to heal my scalp. It just kept breakouts to a minimum. Well, I looked here for help after all else failed and found this product. I read many reviews and didn t really see anything on scalp acne, but thought I d try it. Omg! I felt the essential oils working immediately after first using it. My hair felt clean. SUPER clean. The conditioner made my scalp tingle and it felt amazing. The shampoo doesn t have much tingle. I also added about 10 additional drops of tea tree oil to the shampoo just because I had so many sores on my head. My scalp is clear. NO PIMPLES WHATSOEVER. I am eagerly awaiting my second set as we speak. I used it as directed on the bottle. It doesn t take but a quarter sized amount to wash my shoulder length hair. I wash twice and use the conditioner once. I initially used it daily and now I am back to washing my hair every other to every third day without issue. No new breakouts. My scalp is healthy looking and I can brush it without having pain. I bought their other shampoo called Degreaser along with the Silk-18 conditioner for my daughter as she has trouble with oily hair. I have noticed her hair is looking amazing two days even after shampooing. I believe in this company and will never use another shampoo/conditioner. The bottles have lasted me over a month. I still have some left in my first bottles. Perhaps 2-3 washes left. Also, I was suffering from tons of static in my hair and with these products, I have little to no static. I love MH and will be telling everyone I know about them. Oh and it does suds up amazingly but make sure you rinse a little longer than you re used to with regular shampoos/conditioners. Not a big deal. And I noticed a lot of complaints about having trouble squeezing the bottle, but I didn t see it as a problem. If you have arthritis, I can see how it could be difficult. 5Keeps Seborrheic Dermatitis Under Control! I've had Seborrheic Dermatitis for the last 10 years. I've tried to get to the bottom of what is causing it and I still haven't conclusively been able to determine the root of this issue. I used to break out is painful, sunburn-like, inflammation all over my face, chest and scalp. After a few days these inflamed areas would flake really seriously, look gross and be really uncomfortable. The only thing I've ever found that has helped minimize these outbreaks has been to daily use a certain name brand dandruff shampoo that works on your head and keeps dandruff off your shoulders ;-) I have never been too excited about using a chemical based toxic shampoo everyday, but I also haven't been able to find anything else that works as well... until now. I was concerned about using this shampoo and conditioner set at first because in the past anything with tea tree oil has dried my scalp out really bad, but I saw several reviews for people that used this to treat their Seborrheic Dermatitis and had positive results. I am glad I trusted those reviews because now my condition is under control without having to use a toxic chemical based shampoo. I still get minor flakes, but my skin doesn't break out in red flakey patches and I am generally comfortable if I use this as directed every day. I highly recommend this product for anyone with Seborrheic dermatitis! 5Doesn t do it for my dry scalp, fine/thin hairPros: I think it smells great, and my partner agrees. The first time I used it, my hair felt super soft and I loved it!Cons: the bottle is very difficult to squeeze. I have to work pretty hard to squeeze a small amount out, compared to a bottled product like Yes to Carrots or Mizani. I ve used other Maple Holistics products that are easy to squeeze I forget what it s called, but the red bottle one was wonderful. Also, and this is the big reason for one star: after repeated use, washing my hair every other day, my hair feels much drier than before. It s still soft enough, but I have very fine (thin) hair that needs a lot of moisture. I also have an exceptionally dry scalp. I thought this might help my scalp and moisturize my hair (especially since the directions read apply from roots to ends ), but it seems after about a month of use, it s not helping much of either. While my hair feels soft enough still, there s a certain dry lifelessness to it now that I hadn t experienced before. No volume whatsoever, even when I skip the roots to ends part of the directions. I ll be switching back to my old conditioner.1Helps with dry scalpI love this product. I love that you can feel the cooling sensation as you let the conditioner sit in your hair for a few minutes. It also does help with the dandruff and dry scalp. Price is quite high though. Just ordered more, I ran out and am missing this right now. I have the tea tree shampoo from Maple Holistics as well. The 2 are a great combination for anyone who suffers from dry scalp.5Recommended for Afro-textured hairI have 3c/4a hair that was super dry and matted (due to lack of care TBH). This product brought moisture back into my hair and made it very easy to detangle. It is reasonably price and has Curly Girl Method/Max Hydration Method approved ingredients. I highly recommend.5
