My 'All Seeing Mirror' A friend of mine has had a mirror like this for quite some time and she loves it. She calls it her 'All Seeing Mirror'. I wanted it originally for just traveling, but once I got it, I stuck in on my mirror and its been there ever since, ~except for when we travel and it always comes with. The tweezers that come with it are amazing too! I expected them to be cheaply made, but they are not. They are actually nicely made and work very well. In fact, I use them more than my Tweezerman tweezers! 5Just....WOW! This mirror fit everything I was looking for. I wanted an 8x mirror that was illuminated, but I couldn't find it ANYWHERE. But with the suction cups (which are ridiculously strong by the way), I stuck it to my 5x illuminated mirror and voila! Perfection! No distortion either. That was my biggest concern. This mirror has none. The tweezers are pretty good too! A nice bonus! 5Mirror, Mirror, on the Wall; DBTech is the best value of them all. I gave this four stars only because I really can't claim to love a magnifying mirror. I read a lot of reviews, before I buy anything, and I did with this product. Of all the magnifying mirrors on Amazon, this 10-inch DBTech Large 8x Magnifying Mirror was the best value (least expensive while being highly rated.) I did not know how much I needed one of these until I started using the one in a house I rented on a recent vacation. I got home and realized I could no longer apply my mascara or pluck my eyebrows! This is lightweight and large - I have not tried the suction cups yet but the other reviewers say they do a great job. The bonus? The tweezers are also very good - nice and sharp and the blue pad makes it easier to control them. I won't hesitate to purchase this product again. This mirror is the largest one, but I have a lot of mirror real estate in my bathroom. If you have a smaller bathroom or a smaller mirror, I would suggest purchasing one of the smaller sizes.*ADDED JAN. 06, 2016: This mirror now resides on the large bathroom mirror - the suction cups work great! All I did was push the mirror (using the edges) against the larger mirror, and it stuck. And has remained stuck. Until I need to use it for something else; then it easily comes off with a little pressure and a twist. Love it! 4Perfect This is exactly what I needed for travel. Large, but not too large. Great mirror. I started using at home to see how it would work and it's better than the one I had been using that swings out from my wall....so now I stuck it on top of the other and am using it all the time! 58X perfection I LOVE this mirror. It would be very difficult to live without it - I can;t even imagine what my makeup would look like! The 8X magnification is perfect for makeup. I can't count the number of these mirrors I have given as gifts to my friends who come over and use mine, and immediately realize they can't live without it, either. I HIGHLY recommend this wonderful mirror! 5No more makeup smudges - You can see everything! This is a great mirror. It is 10" so when you look into it, you can see your whole face (not just one eye, etc.), which makes it easier to put on eye makeup. I will be using this mirror for travel. However, it is a bit large for traveling. I need 7X or 8X magnification, but there were none available in 6-8" size, which would have been preferable. You do have to check the suction cups from time-to-time. They're strong and generally stay put for weeks, but over time the suction reduces and it will fall off the mirror and possibly break. The price is a bit high given you can buy one that lights up and is moveable for less than $10 more. 5Always need a good mirror I was away and when some work was done on my house my mirror got knocked off my bathroom mirror. I tried to replace it with the same one but they were not longer in stock. I found this one - PERFECT. I can now see clearly to do all the things I need to do, eyebrows, hairs on my chin, putting on makeup without poking our my eye :}, etc. etc. 5Quality Mirror Poor Suction The quality of the mirror is great and just as ordered. Came quickly and well packaged. Problem is I can t get the suction cups to stick. Tried dampening them, cleaning, etc. Holds for about 15 seconds then let s go. If it hits the floor it will break. 3Quality Mirror, problems with suction bups The mirror is great, but if you are depending on the suction cups to work you may get a surprise often. It sticks well, but will eventually fall off. I have broken one of these already because of this. I think the mirror itself is decent quality, but it can use some improvements as s suction cup mirror.Update: the second mirror broke, when the suction cups decided to give way. I ordered a third mirror and with in only a few days, suction cups failed again, and mirror shattered. I love the mirror, but the fact that the suction cups aren't dependable, leaves it less desirable.Another Update: I truly like the Mirror itself, but if you are planning to use the suction cups you may want to consider another Mirror. I am going on my third mirror now, and it is broken as well. The suction cups gave way, I only had it a week, and now it is now broken once more. I will not buy this mirror again, because I can't afford to replace it every few weeks. 3It's Garbage. Don't waste your money. I had this mirror by this same company for years and had no problem with it, but now the quality has gone down, dramatically. I just got a new one and It's made so cheaply that cleaning it with a glass-cleaner and a name-brand paper towel, completely scratched the mirror surface. It's useless. This is the second one I'll be returning. I originally re-bought the mirror that is described as 8 inches in diameter, only to find out it is really only 6 inches, in actual mirror. (The exact same mirror I had previously was 8 inches of actual mirror, as described.) I sent that back and bought the 10-inch mirror (which is only 8 inches in diameter of actual mirror), but it's now got huge, deep gashes in it from my cleaning it the way I clean every mirror and glass top I own. It's garbage. What a shame. So this company is making the mirrors cheaper and smaller (and lying about the size), to - what, save a few pennies??? - to end up losing many, many dollars and then ultimately, go out of business? Greed doesn't work, you know. 1Very sturdy piece.I used this to put on the window in my bathroom and it was working great. Good clarity. Then a cold front came in and the temperature dropped to 15 degrees outside. The mirror dropped to the floor and rolled across the room. I am giving it a five star review because it was not damaged in the least! For ordinary temperatures outside it works very well on a window. For those who are going to put it on a mirror, I think it would work better. I still put it on the window and let things go as they will.UPDATEI read somewhere that if you warm the window and suction cups with a hairdryer first, it sticks better. I did this two months ago and it worked PERFECTLY. I was a little hesitant about doing this as I was afraid that the window would break since the winter cold made it twelve degrees! I was very cautious and warmed it for only a minute on low heat. Very best of luck!5DV-Tech 8"Suction MirrorThe mirror quality is very distorted and wavy making it very difficult to use to apply make-up or any function. This is the second mirror I ordered having returned the first one thinking it was a "lemon", but the second DB-Tech 8" suction mirror was just as inferior so it also has been returned. This is very disappointing as I am searching for a good quality 10x suction mirror of good size, at least 8". The 9" 10x suction mirror I had for many years broke; I was excited to find this DB 8" mirror, but it proved to be of very poor quality.1
