Perfect for travel I always like to have a lot of magnification for eye makeup, etc. and this was exactly what I was looking for. Most travel size mirrors don't have 15x magnification, and many are not freestanding, which I need to apply makeup, so this is one of the few that I found that had everything I needed. Great quality. I love it! 5The magnification is awesome and I love how it folds up so super ... This is my fault for not paying attention to the description but it is very tiny and hard to see anything with. The magnification is awesome and I love how it folds up so super convenient for traveling. If it weren't for the size I would say it was perfect. I'm not sure why anyone would make a table top mirror this small. 4Not my best Amazon purchase, but OK First off, if I realized how insane the packaging was, I would never have bought this. Usually Amazon is GREAT about just the right packaging to protect item without causing waste and frustration. This item was not the case. The small cardboard box had so much tape on it it took a long, long time to open. When I got it open, it was then taped in so much bubble wrap, that it took another insanely long time to open, and then when I finally got that open, it came in one of those plastic protective sleeves that are so difficult to open/cut. I actually took a break in the middle of opening this box; it took me at least 30 minutes to get through it all. That being said, when it was opened, there was a small ball bearing that bounced out, and a piece basically is not attached to the mirror that should be. My boyfriend said the little ball broke off because of a defect in the way it was manufactured, so it's likely to break off soon. It is so nottt worth returning it, but if I knew what I know now, I definitely would not have ordered this mirror.The mirror itself is as described. It is a little too heavy for a travel mirror; best actually on your bathroom counter for tweezing. 2Excellent Quality, Expected Clarity I bought this to check my contact lenses once I have them in my eyes. The mirror and assembly is sturdy and well-built, and I see my contacts with excellent clarity. The mirror itself appears to be high quality and the 15x power is PERFECT for checking my contacts.For those of you that are complaining that you can't see much in this mirror, please note this is a 15x magnification and it is only three inches in diameter. That is a very high magnification and a very small mirror. So for me, I can see only one eye in this mirror, nothing more. Some of you may want to look at a 10x or 5x mirror as this magnification might be too high for you. And if a 3-inch mirror is too small for you, then for crying out loud buy a bigger mirror! 5Love this mirror! After almost 6 years of daily use, I have to finally buy a new one because an awkward fall off my sink broke the base. I've dropped it before, but the combo of ricocheting off the sink into the tub edge did it on. I love this little travel mirror - handy, well put-together, and the velvet drawstring bag did a great job of keeping it safe (also if you pack it in the middle of your toiletries bag, that'll help too. Looking forward to getting my new mirror and having more travel adventures with it! 5Great for the price. I like it. It's little and stays where you put it. It has excellent magnification. For the price I am very pleased. It's satin nickel and looks good in my bathroom. I don't take it with me when I travel, but I could. It would be great to take along. It folds up reasonable flat. My mom came to my house and saw it and now I have to order her one. I normally add photos, but I just haven't had time the last few reviews. Sorry. If I get around it to it later I will add them. 4Great things come in small packages!! Loved it!! Loved taking this on my last vacation. It is super small. Some reviewers didn't like that, but I read the description and was aware of the size. The small size makes it easy to pack the magnifying is awesome. Really needed it to apply mascara since my close up vision isn't great. 5 stars for the quality. I suggest taking a suction cup with a hook to hang this from a mirror for ease of use or to get it up nearer to the light. But the moving stand worked just fine also. 5Great for travel! Love it ! Well, I broke mine (7 years bad luck - oh no!) I couldn't find another one just like it, and the store I bought it in didn't carry this exact one anymore. I bought another one, but I didn't love it as much. I found this one on Amazon and immediately ordered it. I am SO glad to have another one, and I am VERY careful with this one.It is small and on a very nice base so you can prop it up. The one side is regular mirror. The second side is 15x mirror, and that's what I like. It's really good for when you are plucking your eyebrows or just want a good, close look at your face!! I have not found another 15x that is as good as this one (other ones seemed "warped".) Anyway, I love it and hope I don't break this one! 5Good buy. I bought this to travel with since I can not see to put make up on without a good magnification mirror. I found this a little difficult to use. I am not sure if it is the size that I must get use to or the product. I have a full size one at home and the size may be the case. After using for a while I decided it worked best for my eye make up area. I do a much better job with it since the size is equipped for that purpose. I now keep it on my vanity along with my larger one for that purpose.Will buy again so that I can keep one in my travel case or in my guest bathroom. 5
