Broke down Stoped working dont know why It used to work fine but one day it just diddnt turn on and i cant return its horrible on 2 months use 1I didn t feel that my face was nicely steamed. I agree with other reviewers.. the steam is extremely weak.. even after waiting for 10 mins for the steam to build up, I didn t feel that my face was nicely steamed.. I ll be returning this.. 1... it for over 5 years and it still works great. The facial brush is amazing tooI have owned it for over 5 years and it still works great. The facial brush is amazing too. I use the brush at least three times a week and the steamer every weekend. I used to break out really bad, but ever since I bought this steamer, my skin complexion is truly vibrant. The brush cleans out all the junk from the pores. I usually apply the Queen Helene mint julep masque first and then steam my face after washing off the mask. I then use the brush.Oh my goodness the skin feels so soft and silky afterwards. My skin moisturizer is Aloe Vera.5Save your money. Amazon wouldn t allow me to post this with no stars. I purchased this and was disappointed. You literally have to bury your face into this contraption only to feel the hot mist on your lips. 1Conair all day, every dayI am absolutely in LOVE with this face steamer. I bought this for myself because I read an article about face steaming benefits. After over a month of using this I feel like my skin has definitely improved. It feels more healthier, radiant and softer. My forehead started to break out a bit a few weeks before I even considered buying this, and it is so amazing how it cleared it up. I bought this Conair one because I feel like I've always used some sort of Conair product in my life - hair brush, dryer, etc. and I feel like I just can't go wrong with them. I am very confident to say I didn't go wrong on this one either. When I first received this product I used it for 3 days straight just to test it out and I saw results after the second time. Right now, I personally like to use this at least once a week either before I shower or afterwards. This product comes with two different size cones, but I just use the largest size to get my whole face. It also includes a facial brush which is also nice too for the price that you pay compared to expensive facial brushes! I definitely feel like my own home is a spa when I whip out my steamer!5BurnedI don't know if I have a defective unit but this thing squirted water upward burning my chin. Mind you it was sitting on my lap1Does not work as advertisedI've only had this for a few days, I have used it twice. That was enough to know I need to return it. Maybe mine is just defective. The timer does not work. It turns off after 5 minutes no matter what you have it set to. It does not produce a lot of steam, I would really prefer it to be twice as strong. It takes over 5 minutes to start steaming. I don't like just sitting there waiting for it so I do other things, like get the coffee started, but if you do that and forget, it will dry out because it does not turn off automatically when dry. It would be nice if you could turn the timer on, just to be safe. But no, you have wait until it is heated up to set the timer too. So, you just have to wait for it. Also you MUST unplug it when you are done. Do not just turn it off with the power button. It stays warm all day when plugged in, which really worries me. It's very disappointing. I liked the shape of it, it's more comfortable than other steamers I have tried. And I really liked the nose cone, as I use these for dry sinuses, that's the reason I bought it, and the reason it gets 2 stars instead of one. It's just not worth the risk. This is my 4th facial steamer. They have all died, I haven't found one that lasted a full year. I really thought Conair would be a trusted name.2My return window is closed and I am very disappointed. This product has a quality flaw with the plastic face cup which cracks at the bottom from heat. We replaced the first one with a new one and that cracked too-- dropping shards of plastic in to the steam water.We decided to keep the product as it was still functional even though broken but now after 2 months of use the unit does not heat anymore. Plugged in to the socket, it does not light but but slightly heats up without producing any steam. My return window is closed and I am very disappointed. 1nice little gentle facial steamer. Nice little compact facial steamer. the large blue mask allows the whole face to be steamed. The smaller blue mask works as a breathing nose steamer. The little breathing mask also works fabulous if you just want to steam your "T" zone. It's just enough to give your nose & forehead a bit of steam. It gives a moderate amount of hot steam that is gentle on the skin, rather than the larger higher volume steamer that can burn your skin pretty fast. I like that the blue part comes off and turned upside down sits nicely on top of the bottom part, so it stores nicely. If you want more steam to stay in, toss a towel over your head to hold it in longer. It works exactly as advertised. The good part on this unit is that I can empty, clean and dry out the water steaming basin. Most steamers do not let you have good access to the water pan. The timer is helpful, as you can use it for the time that works best for you. 5My skin looked absolutely amazing, glowing, clear. This little machine is amazing. I bought it about a month ago, and I ve used it maybe 7 or 8 times, and my skin looks fantastic. I was looking for a machine to give myself at home facials, and I found this one online with great reviews. The price was right, and I decided to give it a whirl! It only took 4 days to arrive to my house, with cheap shipping. I started using it alongside my beauty regimen and my skin looked absolutely amazing after. I mean, glowing, clear, tight pores, the whole shebang. This will be a little bit long, but here s my routine. First, I cleanse all the initial dirt and grime off of my face with Cetaphil, which is nice and light and cleans my skin with no muss and no fuss. I then use the Conair Facial steamer to open up my pores and give my skin super hydration. Next, I use my TreeActiv Anti Acne & Rosacea Treatment TreeActiv Anti Acne & Rosacea Treatment Sulfur Mask Plus Rhassoul, Bentonite Clay Mask with Witch Hazel & Aloe Vera - Refreshing Lemon Scent (1 Jar) (8 Oz) , which I use three times a week, and this helps prevent future pimples, deep cleans my pores, and also evens out my complexion. Directly after using the mask, I use the C & C spot treatment, which works on the existing pimples, zapping them dead in their tracks. Now, here comes the important part, I use TreeActiv+ Tea Tree Oil Acne Solution for Advanced Acne Treatment - All Natural Acne Spot Treatment - Blemishes Gone or Your Money Back! (60ml) as a disinfectant for my skin. Why do I need a disinfectant you ask? Because salicylic acid works as an acid does, sort of burning a hole through your zit, making it smaller, but also making it extremely susceptible to more bacteria which creates, as you guessed it, more pimples. After all of this I use Olay Regenerist night cream which leaves my skin smooth as a baby s bottom the next morning. After doing this regimen for a few weeks, my skin looks positively radiant.
