Customer Reviews

Holy crap. Please listen to this review Holy crap. Please listen to this review. This is the best, and easiest to use wax I have ever tried. It dries super quickly and when it dries it creates a vacuum seal around the hair. It does not stick to skin in the slightest and cuts the pain down 75%. I would pay $150 dollars for this stuff because it is so good. 5Why do we do this to ourselves I don't know what kind of superwomen reviewed this product saying it was "great" and a "worthy investment" but HOLY HELL coming from someone who has never waxed before.....yall. I've given birth. I have tore my holiest of holys. I have pushed myself physically, I have mind over mattered many things in life. But it took 4 shots of whiskey for me to get through one side of bikini waxing myself with this goo. The product itself worked as advertised. It ripped my hair out. But i love myself enough to never do that to my precious body ever again. Im generously giving 4 stars because it did, indeed, rip my precious hair from their roots. 4PCOS Facial Waxing--HAIR FREE!I waxed my face, neck, and chest. This is the first time since I entered puberty that I have been hair free on my face and neck. I am 34, female, and I have severe PCOS that leads to male pattern facial hair growth on my entire body. I have been shaving my face and neck for over 15 years, and each year hair growth got worse. If I let my facial hair grow, I can have a full beard in about two weeks. I say this to lay a groundwork for my review.I am hair free. It was NOT painless. It hurt, a lot. But the pain of having to shave DAILY, cover my five o'clock shadow in makeup, or even not go out because of hair growth--I will gladly go through the agony of waxing my face again and again to get results like this. The reason it hurt so badly was two-fold-- the density of hair per square inch on the area that was being waxed (especially chin area) and the inability to tighten skin effectively prior to removing wax.If you are going to wax off your facial hair/beard, some helpful suggestions:1. Make sure the skin and hair to be waxed are clean and dry. If applying the Cirepil pre-depilatory oil, do so very lightly, and make sure your fingers or gloves are dry, and remove excess oil. Apply some body powder very lightly AFTER the oil. If it cakes, there was too much oil left on your skin. Clean and try again.2. In dense areas, the wax can grab very short hairs, so perhaps a week's worth of hair growth will be sufficient. When waxing your chin, do thin stripes vertically from the center of chin downwards, and have enough of a tail at the end to grab. Let the wax dry and set--good indication is that it shouldn't feel warmer than your skin. It will have a ton of hair to pull out, so if it's still too warm, it will rip and tear before yanking out the hairs.3. Make sure the wax lines applied have even, clean edges, and the thickness of the wax applied is even and not too thin. If you can see the hair through the wax, it is too thin. You can apply more wax over the wax already applied.I did have to do three passes over some spots due to the density of hair growth but the gentleness on my skin was worth it. I did have some spotting with blood, and the redness and tenderness lasted a couple days, so for facial waxing on heavy growth, allow an entire weekend to wax and recover. I will be ordering this again and using it to maintain.**Note on the "stubbling" reported in some reviews: This stubbling effect is the wax grabbing hairs that were not fully grown, at skin level, and pulling them outwards but not removing them from the skin completely. I noticed the hairs this happened to on my face are almost invisible, and I can only know they are present by touch. I waited 4 days, then used a thin layer of wax ONCE over these areas, and the hairs are gone.5Wow! Its all they say!! I have recently started doing my own Brazilians after pay $45 a shot. As a novice I thought all waxes were the same. I was wrong. I first started out with the standard GiGi Brazillian hard wax. It worked but within a few days I noticed things weren't smooth and within two weeks I needed to wax again. Then I tried soft wax...total disaster. I've had Brazilians on and off for years and the blue wax seemed to be a standard for the professionals. I decided to spend the extra and tried Cirepil today. It seemed to get everything off. I have developed a good technique with the other brand and used the same with Cirepil. Took less time since I didn't have to go over the areas twice. I didn't use ANY pre oil, just washed well and went for it. My process...Wash well and rinse so no soap residue. Warm wax until barely melted. Using a large craft stick (I bought a giant bag of craft sticks for $5 instead of a small bag of "waxing" sticks for $8) I took a small amount of wax and rolled the stick so nothing was blatantly dripping. I worked in small areas, spreading the wax and leaving an edge for pulling. I really think I could have made the wax thinner due to its consistency whereas the before mentioned brand needed a thicker application so it wouldn't crack. I waited to pull when the wax was solid enough to not transfer to my fingers. Afterwards I used a little tea tree oil to remove the little bits of wax (which is normal with any hard wax) and as an antibacterial. I think it hurt a little less than the other brands due to the solid hair adhesion. Redness was gone within minutes after each section was done. I am thrilled with the results. I did my daughters underarms and it didn't leave any hairs. It is worth the extra couple of dollars. I looked at the Cirepil web site and they have a specific hard wax for Brazilians called Intimate 4. I am curious if anyone has used it and how it compares to traditional blue. 5LOVE this waxLOVE this wax! I used to go to European Wax Center to get monthly waxes, but it was sooo expensive. I decided to try waxing at home to save $$$. I first bought the GIGI Hard Wax since it had very good reviews, however, was VERY disappointed as it was extremely difficult to peel off. I then purchased this wax and it was such a HUGE difference!! Waxing at home is SO easy with this wax. It still kinda hurts, however, the pain is much much LESS than with other waxes. It is super easy to peel off too. I love the blue color and how quickly it melts. I will continue purchasing this wax and waxing at home since I love the results and the money that it is saving me :)5Gets everything off! By far this is the best wax I have used to date! I have tried several other types (e.g. strips, hard wax, etc) that either did nothing to grab my hairs, or they got some out but left a decent amount behind. Whereas the cirepil blue wax got almost everything out on the first go. I was so surprised when I saw how many hairs came off on the wax. This is exactly what I was looking for, something that will do the job without me wasting the majority of the product. I was really happy with the result. It got out all my small, large, thick, and thin hairs. It fit perfectly in the GiGi wax burner, however I will say it takes some time. So plan on waiting a while before actually starting the process. But this isn t a drawback, I would expect it to take a while since this is a very dense container of wax. Speaking of which, let the entire thing melt before dipping into it. You don t want to use a partly warmed up wax, that will only have you wasting it. Last advice, don t expect this not to hurt. It s wax, so there bound to be some discomfort. 5Best stripless wax out there!I bought this for home use, I wanted to have 1 after I learned in beauty school that there was even a wax out there like this that needed nothing but itself and a stick to remove hair with the least amount of hair removal "tools". My son is half Hispanic and was constantly having me pluck his eyebrows at least every week before school and he would always come to me last minute. Well, when I got this, I told him to let me try it and I bet him that it would be faster and would save me $15 every 2 weeks from having to have his eyebrows waxed when he got his hair cut. I am now an esthetician Nail Tech and my son now trust me in my work and he would never go back to woman strips he loves the stripless wax as I do too and all my clients! They actually request the stripless wax unless they need a bikini wax! So I give this a huge 5 stars! 5Buy! Buy! Buy! After living in France for awhile, I'm further convinced that the highest quality products come from there. This wax is no exception. It is great!I couldn't get on the schedule for my waxer and decided to do my touch up myself. I bought the Gigi warmer and large applicators. The wax did not come beaded but melted nicely and evenly. I never burned myself and the wax never stuck to my skin! Every other home wax I've tried has been a nightmare.I did make a little mess but when the wax dried on my bathroom floor I let it harden and it came up very easily. I showered and the warmth help the wax come off my nails and skin.I feel so smooth and sexy and I might not get waxed professionally since this process was so easy for me.Great great product! 5Read!!!!!Does a good job at removing coarse hairs. It takes more than one application to remove fine hairs for me. I've purchased soft wax and muslin strips to take care of that. It is not very painful to self wax with this in my opinion (higher tolerance for pain including Brazilian). This wax can be messy as a beginner but if you watch some YouTube videos, it should help with a cleaner application. For those folks who wanted the beads, there are options to change it to the bag of beads versus the tin.The tin fits well in my Gigi warmer. Be careful with the wax as it is quite dark and WILL stain any fabric you get it on forever and ever amen.********* I used this on my mom and she broke out in little hives likely due to the dye (she is sensitive to dyes) but they went away after rubbing alcohol and 30 minutes*********4PICK THE RIGHT SIZE BEFORE YOU ORDER!! So I'm reading the reviews and I see all these complaints that the wax came in a tin and it was hard as a rock. Well FYI they come in bead form and a tin form. So READ carefully which option you want. I got the tin which fits perfecting in the wax warmer. I'm quiet postive it will fit in most of them. Zero complaints on my end. Wax so far has been great and easy to use. Much better then the traditional waxing with strips! 5Best wax, hands down Have been using this wax for years. I was once an esthetician and this is what we used at school. When I got my first job they did not supply me with this brand and the other brands they used were terrible. I decided it was worth it for me to purchase this on my own because it was far superior to the others. Now I am no longer an esthetician but I continue to purchase it for my own waxing. As someone that has tried several other cheaper wax in hopes to save a buck, I have always returned to this and will never try another brand again. Trust me, pay a little extra because it is totally worth it! i use this with the lotion/oil that the brand also carries and have never been disappointed. 5This wax seems to cool much quicker which means you have to move it ... First, I'm not a professional but I do wax my nethers completely and regularly.I usually buy the regular gold hard wax but I decided to try this after noting so many pros use a blue wax in their tutorials. This wax seems to cool much quicker which means you have to move it quickly or it will tug. That said the wax seems to be more effective and less brittle once it cools.I was happy that this one didn't have a crazy fragrance.I worry about perfumes and stuff considering the sensitive area I'm using it.I will say I rarely had any upset bumps after waxing with the yellow hard wax but with this one my sensitive areas seemed irritated and bumpy after. (This may vary for you as my skin in general is sensitive to artificial fragrances and some chemicals in products)The bumps eventually went away but my "stuff" looked pretty grouchy afterwards and for a few hours.Overall I think i prefer this wax. It was easier to handle, less spider webby strings, quicker to cool, very effective as far as the hair it grabbed. Would recommend. 4Best hard wax Best hard wax yet! Worked awesome on my armpits. Great for course thick hair. 5Hair free hubby and fabulous Upon reviews, I decided to try this brand for the hubby's chest and back wax. It didn't disappoint. Goes on smooth, does not completely garden (which is a plus) and a lot less mess and waste. We have since ordered it another 3 times, all with the same great results. Highly recommended and is our new go to wax. 5
