Great color, so-so formulaThe photo doesn't really do justice to how bright Pink Voltage is. It's highlighter pink. I love it for summer but it doesn't really work any other time of the year. I have very pale skin and this makes me look slightly more tan and really flatters my cool skin tone.My comments will refer to using this on the toes because I don't wear nail polish on my hands very often. I'm removing a star for the formula. Maybe because it's fluorescent, it has a chalky consistency so it dries kind of matte and easily becomes brittle. I have to use two coats of CND Vinylux top coat for shine. Because it's chalky you need 3 coats of color for full coverage. And because it dries brittle you will need to reapply top coat every few days to make it last as long as most toenail polish. It's still worth buying tho, for the pretty color. 4Orange Knockout...pictures dont do it justice...I have bought several china glaze recently and this Neon Orange Knockout is the perfect neon orange (especially when compared to China Glaze Home Sweet House Music, which isn't very neon and looks more yellow orange). Trying to get an accurate picture of the color wasn't working...it is actually a brighter, standout, 100% neon orange in person. (I did not add a top coat in photo and it is with 3 coats). Compared to other CG polishes this one seems to dry alot faster and is more of a matte style after drying. As for China Glaze as a brand...I used to think OPI was best brand but when looking for a cheaper but good quality polish, China Glaze is great! Overall, when comparing CG to OPI, I think they are pretty close in quality and how long they last before chipping, except I have noticed that most of CG are little less opaque and require extra coat than it usually takes most of the OPI colors. I will also say that I wish they had a little bit of a thicker brush or that it was a flatter brush rather than rounded. Overall, I'm falling in love with CG as good priced alternative!! 5Didn't hold up for longFor some reason this specific color or bottle that I received is not very long staying. The first time I painted my nails with this they chipped really bad in my sleep. I tried painting my nails using a different clear coat. I used the China Glaze clear top coat. I got about 1 complete day before the chipping got really bad. I always but China Glaze because this nail polish holds up best, but that is not the case this time. Maybe the bottle was old or something but I am pretty disappointed. 2Not the color as advertisedI was super excited for this as I just finished my last bottle. This color is gorgeous. However, when I got it, it was an entirely different color. More like a dark teal color. Normally I would just forget about it, but this is the 2nd time I have received nail polish that doesnt match the original color. Its like they randomly make their own cheap nail polish and fill it in original bottles. I know it sounds crazy, but this color and the one I got do not resemble eachother at all. Same with my last one. I compared the one I bought from a store and the one from here.....not even close in texture/color/one was glittery and the one I ordered was not. 1Worst Nail Polish - Bad BuyThis nail polish is horrific. I like to paint my own nails and purchased this color to go with my bridesmaid dress. I have never owned or seen polish lay on like this one did. Shaking the bottle didn't help at all. After three coats and a clear coat, it still didn't look very good. Would never buy anything China Glaze again. This wasn't worth a $1. 1Very pretty in hot pink!!!I really love this color. It's a deep hot neon pink!! The formula is a bit thick but not to bad, I could cover in 2 coats some nails I did have to do three, you could probably do it in 2 coats, I don't like doing thick coats. It isn't shiny, it's pretty flat, but just put on a coat of top coat and then your nails are shiny!! Can't wait, going to the beach in June, definitely going to bring this color with me :) great color for summer!! Or anytime of the year, dressed up or down. The picture I took i have had it on for 3 days. If you like the bright yellow I have on my ring finger, it's by color club called under the black light, its a bright neon yellow I love it!Update, the second time I used this, it chipped the very day I put it on, the next day it was just peeling off, it was horrible. Not sure why it did this, I really love this color. It was like I had put on kids nail polish that you put on and can just peel off! Guess I will be looking for a color close to this in another brand. 3Not the same colorWhile this bottle is labelled as "Flipflop Fantasy," it does not match the prior bottle of the same that I used (as others have stated). Last week, I got my toes painted with the old bottle. This week I ordered this so my fingers could match. You can see the comparison in my picture: the new version is much more orange (fingers), the older version more pink (toes). I did a stripe of the new on my big toe to make sure I wasn't imagining it, and unfortunately I wasn't. 3This orange knockout from this seller is the real deal. This is 2 orange knockout I ordered from a different seller in a week as color from 1st seller more of a tangerine color and very very watery. This seller has the correct one like the nail salon very thick and super neon orange. See pictures. Right polish 1st order super watery thin not neon. Left is 2nd order. Nice thick neon orange. Note both bottles show same numbers and name on labels even barcode but dedinately not same color or consistencies. I also shook the bottles at same time for a minute and lay them on their side then took pic immediately. As u can see big bubble on right side which depicts just how watery it is. Left polish 2nd order no bubble as much thicker. Also applied 2 coats only as normal to test color on left polish but had to apply 4 coats which is unheard off on right side polish to achieve a semi vibrant color. Add a photo button will not allow picture upload. 5Product tip: run with itI've never tried China Glaze before, but after watching copious Youtube videos and pictures from nail art bloggers online, I was sure only this color, Re-fresh Mint, was the correct shade of mint for me. I was correct since it is a true green. The item was perfectly intact, proper consistency, no signs of leaks or use (pristine top of bottle and wand). I will warn any other new users of the product that it is quite thick and watery at the same time. So you kinda need to shake extra, and when you apply, know it will run and you need to run with it: let it fill the gaps, then apply one more coat. I decided to push my luck with 3 coats, and in my humid, above 100 degrees environment, it was too gloopy at that stage. So apply two even coats and you're good. But honestly, this was thick and opaque enough to handle one coat when shaken well. 5Pink Voltage bad (counterfeit maybe?)So apparently Pink Voltage and Pink Voltage (neon) are different colors?? I'm attaching comparison pics. This one is more of a baby pink color. It also dries matte and goes on very uneven/streaky (attaching a pic of one coat). It also majorly chipped/peeled in less than 24 hours. I ended up using this color to sponge a gradient along with Love's a Beach. It looked nice after top coat (but didn't have the same micro glitter that Love's a Beach has). And, like I said it peeled off of 2 nails after less than a day. 1
